The journey starts deep in the forests of North America, where we select premium hardwoods like American white oak, black walnut, and maple. These timbers are known not only for their beauty and strength but also for their sustainability. We work exclusively with certified suppliers committed to responsible forestry, ensuring every log is traceable and ethically harvested.

Our design team blends timeless aesthetics with modern functionality, drawing on global design trends and New Zealand living preferences. Every piece begins with a sketch, followed by digital modeling and prototype development. We build and test samples to perfect everything—from proportions to finishes—before committing to full production. Whether it’s a computer desk for your home office, a study desk with workspace drawers, or a book cabinet with glass doors paired with smart office storage, thoughtful design is at the heart of it all.


With approved designs in hand, we move to precision manufacturing. Custom molds and CNC machine templates are created to ensure exact dimensions and consistency across batches. Our production flow line balances machine accuracy with human craftsmanship—every surface is hand-sanded, every joint checked, every finish applied with care.




Before leaving our factory, every item is thoroughly inspected for structural soundness, surface finish, and packaging integrity.

Once manufactured, our furniture components are stored in overseas warehouses spanning 50,000 square meters. From there, they are containerised and shipped to New Zealand on a regular schedule. We handle approximately 30 containers per month at our NZ warehouse.
Our logistics team carefully optimises each shipment to minimise environmental impact and maintain cost efficiency for our customers.


On arrival, shipments go through New Zealand Customs, where we handle all the import compliance so you don’t have to. After clearance, products are transferred to our domestic warehouse where they are stocked, quality-checked, and prepped for dispatch. This local inventory model means faster delivery times and better service for Kiwi Home—whether you’ve ordered a display cabinet, book cabinet, office storage or desk.

Local dispatch also helps reduce freight complexity and transport costs. In practical terms, that means better-value delivery options for South Island households, especially on larger pieces like dining tables, bed frames, buffets, and display cabinets.
South Island customers can now choose pick-up from our Christchurch dispatch point, which is a great option if you’d like to save even more on delivery fees and organise collection on your own schedule.
